Reflecting Christ's light
Elizabeth, a published writer and Christian novelist, was born and bred in the southwestern part of Nigeria. Growing up, she found out she was in love with reading–stories in many forms. By the time she made it to high school, she could exchange her dinner for a good book to read. Her delightful experiences journeying into worlds in books fanned her interest in telling stories to flame. She realized she could cook up a tale in a short time to entertain her friends or anyone who cared to listen.
Elizabeth began to write at a tender age. She started with illustrations. She would draw up sketches and find someone to share them with. Following this, she progressed to penning short plays, and eventually to full-fledged fiction writing. Elizabeth wrote her first published book–Thorns and Roses– in 2015. At that point, she did not plan to write a novel. She simply posted a part of the first chapter on her WordPress blog as a ‘share and care’ post—posts people read and drop opinions about–but it turned out people were glued and expecting more. Before she knew it, episode after episode, a book was completed.
For years, Elizabeth wrote general fiction. But after she discovered God’s purpose for her gift, she determined she would only write Christian fiction going forward. She published her first Christian novella–Mended Wings–in 2018. The Holy Spirit is continually impacting lives through the books He steadily helps her to write. To God be the glory.
Elizabeth is a wife to one–an amazing son of God and she is a mother of blessed children.
Today, she shares her favorite scripture with you;
1 Corinthians 2:9 NKJV:
But as it is written: “eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
